Leistungsschwimmer Kuba steht unter Druck. Seine Mutter möchte ihren Sohn für sich haben und will, dass Freundin Sylwia auszieht. Sein Trainer will, dass er sich mehr anstrengt. Doch Kuba trifft keine Entscheidungen und entzieht sich den Erwartungen. Dass er leistungssteigernde Mittel nimmt, behält er ebenso für sich wie den schnellen Sex mit Männern im Klo der Schwimmhalle. Als er in einer Kunstgalerie Michal kennen lernt, scheint zum ersten Mal in Kubas Leben die Möglichkeit auf, sich in einen Mann verlieben. Untertauchen und widerstandslos durchs Leben zu gleiten, funktionieren nicht mehr als Strategie. Sylwia schöpft Verdacht, seine Mutter kann nicht loslassen und für Michal ist kein Platz in seinem Leben reserviert. Verzweifelt sucht Kuba eine Möglichkeit, sich freizuschwimmen.

Competitive swimmer Kuba is under pressure. His mother wants her son to herself and wants his girlfriend Sylwia to move out. His coach wants him to work harder. But Kuba doesn’t make any decisions and defies expectations. The fact that he is performance-enhancing drugs is something he keeps to himself, as is his quick sex with men in the loo at the
swimming pool. When he meets Michal in an art gallery, for the first time in Kuba’s life the possibility of falling in love with a man appears.
