DESCRIPTION:(deutscher Text siehe unten)\nKakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya is h
 ome to over 200\,000 asylum seekers\, including many LGBT+ Africans from t
 he surrounding countries\, as Kenya is the only country in the region that
  offers asylum to those seeking protection from homophobic and transphobic
  persecution. Yet the legal and social situation in Kenya is little better
 \, and queer people at the camp face daily violence and discrimination\, a
 nd are in need of international support and solidarity. Join us at Libress
 o Libertär on the 8th of October at 8 pm for a presentation by John Solom
 on Nabuyanda about the conditions of queer life in Kakuma\, followed by a 
 workshop where we will collectively brainstorm strategies of support. We w
 ill end with a letter writing session and the opportunity to formulate mes
 sages of solidarity and hope to the people at Kakuma\, to show them they h
 ave not been forgotten. John Solomon Nabuyanda is a lawyer and human right
 s defender from Uganda\, currently living in exile in Germany due to homop
 hobic discrimination. The presentation and workshop will be held in Englis

 Im Geflüchteten-Lager Kakuma in Kenia leben über 200.000 Asylsuchende\, 
 darunter viele LGBT+ Afrikaner_innen aus den umliegenden Ländern. Denn Ke
 nia ist das einzige Land in der Region\, das Asyl vor homophober und trans
 phober Verfolgung bietet. Die rechtliche und soziale Situation in Kenia is
 t jedoch kaum besser\, und die queeren Menschen im Lager sind täglich Gew
 alt und Diskriminierung ausgesetzt und brauchen internationale Unterstütz
 ung und Solidarität.\nKommt am 8. Oktober um 20 Uhr ins Libresso Libertä
 r zum Vortrag von John Solomon Nabuyanda über die Lebensbedingungen von q
 ueers in Kakuma. Im Anschluss werden wir gemeinsam Strategien zur Unterst
 ützung erarbeiten. Wir werden den Abend mit demSchreiben von Briefen been
 den\, um Botschaften der Solidarität und Hoffnung an die Menschen in Kaku
 ma beenden\, um ihnen zu zeigen\, dass sie nicht vergessen sind. John Solo
 mon Nabuyanda ist ein Rechtsanwalt und Menschenrechtsverteidiger aus Ugand
 a und lebt derzeit wegen homophober Diskriminierung im Exil in Deutschland
