MANE // experimental • feminist • goth • post punk Hellbent Booking // Digital Regress Records
We are MANE from San Francisco, a 2-piece of women weaving lush, harsh deep tones into strange melodies. Featuring harmonies and distorted instruments, we’re a mixture of guitar, bass, electric and live drums. After touring the US for our debut self-titled 7” release, on Dave Fox’s of Traditional Fools) label Cut Rate Records, MANE hit the studio to finish new music. Working with engineers Chet JR White (Girls), Dave Fox, and Paul Courte (Brasil), mastered by Cooper Crain (Bitchin’ Bajas), and newly signed to Hellbent Booking, MANE is now looking to unleash their debut, self-produced, full-length record, Alpha Female, in 2017.

Gomme is an all-female post-punk/goth/punk band residing in Paris. Hailing from three different countries, the women of Gomme sing in French and German as well as English. The meanings of the songs range from the frustrations of everyday life to the issues of being a woman in today’s society to the feeling of being lost and disconnected as an expatriate in France, something that inevitably brought the band together. They are influenced by Sonic Youth, The Spits, Wire, Kleenex, The Germs, Bauhaus, and Xmal Deutschland, among others. They released their premiere LP on Black Totem Records in April 2017 and are also on French label Et Mon Cul C’est du Tofu and Texas label Yippie Ki Yay.
